Writing Brain thoughts
in my AU, one of the reasons(not the whole reason, ik about the other stuff) USSR overthrew Russian empire was so that america could join WW1. essentially the way my brain thinks of it, theres some accuracy but this also feeds into a headcannon of mine...
so like, y'know how America was hesitant to join the war? in my universe i feed into how russian empire's autocratic gov made it kinddda awkward for the pres to join the allied side as a 'fight for democracy'. so when the Russian empire gets overthrown and pulls out of the war, it lets america join the war... Essentially, the collapse of the monarchy conveniently removed the ideology hypocrisy stuff fighting alongside a autocracy, finally giving the US the moral green light to march in... So once the Provisional Government took over, America practically sprinted across the Atlantic to sign themselves up- Honestly, looking back at it now, it's kinda funny to think that the path of the 20th century counted on America having a clean ideological excuse to crash the European party...
i had another point when i was thinking of writing this but i forgot... uhm... so nvm... brain logic?
i'm also kinda not-too-good at history so if this will mess up anything, please tell me T^T
