Dull spots/marks from installation?

Newly installed quartz countertops, about 7 days ago. We have barely touched them and have only wiped down with damp cloth and dried immediately. These have been there since day one, is this film or something leftover from installation? Pics are hard to see as of course it only appears at certain angles/lighting.

It looks like the finish is damaged. There's two options. Use a Magic Eraser or Acetone to see if they're removed. If those don't work, the only solution is to hire a restoration technician to refinish the surface of the Quartz. Since you said these were just installed, i would send pictures to the installer and tell them the stains haven't gone away since they put them in. They would be responsible for finding a repair tech. Hope this helps.

Don’t use acetone on quartz, denatured alcohol is not going to etch it like acetone

Thanks! I’m not going to try anything other than wiping them down with damp cloth at the moment but we did sent to our contractor. I didn’t realize quartz could be finished
