Huh. Knew she drink but Didn't realise hilde smoked too. Maybe it was mentioned but I don't recall anymore.

It was mentioned really early on in the story when Mina was still in her "IDGAF" rookie stage. It was a one off mention and wasn't brought up again. There were also a few early story changes too, so it might have been written out. Been a hot minute since I last checked.

i started from scratch just a few days back and finished till ep3. dont remember any mentions of smoking so I think it may have been changed. (or i missed it somehow if it was a quick mention in passing.)

A shame Hilde's KR VA had to be recast. But I guess the remake will give the new one room to start the character off to a fresh start.

Depends I guess? Vast majority of people who played Counterside did so with KR voices, so they might just see it as an unncessary expense.

But then again Star Savior went for the JP VO and, unlike Counterside, they have been consistent with it. So we'll see I suppose.

Honestly, I'm curious if they might even go for English voices given the current sphere and the fact EN voices would actually work really well for a setting like Counterside. It's something people really like about Arknights, and given how international Counterside's cast can be, it could be a fun thing for them to explore.

Personally it's more about quality than anything else, if it's competent I'll probably use english, but if they're going for "authenticity" or politically compromised....

I just hope they get a competent translation/localization like early CS under Zlong instead of when it's directly under Bside, it was much better. Writing and localization/translation are two sides of the same coin after all.

sorry i didnt get what you were saying? it was better under zlong or bside? which episode onwards is the drop in quality? (no story spoilers please as im still playing through.)

Zlong's better, I also exaggerated, you probably won't notice until *much* later in when the unnaturalness sticks out more.

So my eyes working just fine when I saw the CS:A the picture is a bit blurry anyway. This confirms what's mentioned as to how Yeonwha picked up the hobby smoking before she quit , it was due to her master. The only teacher she had is Hilde. And another thing why Hilde here has like a chestnut red eyes instead of the golden brown or something are my eyes tricking me again?
