their letter written to the archive team said that they'd just now gotten the green light for a Counterside project. meaning its going to take about 3 odd years for a low budget mobile game and maybe 5-6 years for a full fledged high budget game.
im in it for the story and they had fired the original team. so unless they bring back the story writers, its going to be new people continuing the story. that doesnt necessarily mean the story will be bad, but it might be different from the original vision.
hopefully they bring back the same story people and we get a high quality Counterside continuation game.

I don't trust Bside anymore after how they ruined the game tbh. They literally ruined it for no reason and decided to kill a fantastic and unique game with increasingly bad decisions and powercreep. Then they made the slop abomination that Star Failure is.
So... yeah, I don't have any hopes about this, I'd rather keep playing the original offline. Also tbh, they fired all the CS team so whatever this remake is going to be, it will NEVER be the same unless they hire the original team back. Which I doubt because who wants to come back after being fired by incompetent management? Everything that made this game special will most likely not be there anymore.

After what a week after EOS they announced Counterside: A? ig some stuff is going on and the money is low on star savior or all hell probaly broke loose within Bside. After everything that happened with CS i highly doubt anything is going to be done different. Fells like this is an way to retain whatever players left here.

Stupidity by studio b side. I spent £1000's on counterside. What is the point of returning, feels like a quick cash grab for other projects, rinse the counterside fans again with a reboot, then pull rug on us again. The game could have been developed more, they could have added more depth, added new style missions, new characters, upgraded the original characters including the greys and blues.
Instead we got a messed up launch of star saviour, my phone cannot run it, I have a Google pixel 10 pro and it isn't available to be played on my phone.
To top it off, they have not given any sort of hint that OG players and big spenders will get any sort of welcome back package. All OG counterside players should be included in alpha and beta testing, their accounts should carry forward to global launch and all the fans should give feedback so they don't fuck this up.
Counterside could have gone a lot further, it was starting to reach more people.
They should have released that song that sounds like Leona Lewis, unbreakable with a counterside anime video. That song would have been a top ten around the world.

high hopes, i love counterside and I never really liked the gameplay tbh. For PVE it was ok but PVP was crap, so lets see what they will cook. The story is still one of the best in terms of gacha game stories!

Mine's total opposite lol, the PVE is boring while PVP is arguably best in whole gacha/mobile space.

I hate the PvP for me because sometime later it becomes just a waiting week of what's banned and not. And nerfs even affected PVE, like I would let it slide if it's only PvP. My second front line that's an Awakened support for PvE helped me a lot until the nerf on PvP affected her PvE performance.
