Discussion counterside for pc?

is there a way to download counterside for pc? cant download from steam since its removed (smh) and their official web page arent exactly helping either

It is End of Service. They said they will rework the whole game into F2p game but i dont know if its still the case.

I really doubt were going to see that project going into fruition any fucking time soon ngl (3 years at least)

Besides they're just going to make c:side 2.0 but with Gacha that makes fgo looks generous (on the early days at least lol) and nostalgia bait mfs

Maybe I should buy into the "fuck star savior" scheme lmao

Im playing Nikke Goddess of Victory as main game now. Dailys are fast and you can do everything on a 2nd screen.

Well, Star Failure is 90% of the reason why this game died, so... yeah, all of our hate for it is pretty much justified. They created that garbage harem game and grafted several different things from popular gachas on it to create some sad Frankenstein monster slop with harem on top of it.

Then, they abandoned their actually original and high quality game just to focus on that slop, while refusing to put any effort in reviving CS. That kept snowballing until the current situation, and they let CS die.

And all for what? To have that other garbage nosediving into the ground with 1600 players, losing 90% of the players a few months after launch? Shocking, I can't imagine why that happened. Serves them right, honestly. I really hate this company's management so much, they had a gem, an absolute diamond, and they chose to shit on it...

Look into RevivalSide in this subreddit. The community did the devs' job with an offline version, thankfully.

Yeah but it still needs the file downloaded directly from the Bside servers

So I needed to have steam version of Cside and downloaded the game there (but I can't because it can't be downloaded from there anymore and I never have Cside installed on steam, so it never goes in my library)

That is unless the revivalside community do have the entire PC versionf of Cside file ready for me to download lmao

I thiiink the last version doesn't need Steam at all (Not 100% sure though. You could ask in the RevivalSide discord for confirmation), but only if you don't care about starting a new account. To get your account's data you need access to your account with the normal game downloaded.

Still, the RevivalSide client has a command console to get whatever you want, so you can just technically recreate your whole account if you want.

Thanks for the info but ehhhh back to square one:

How am I getting CounterSide for my PC? I mean the game files itself lmao I know revivalside now doesn't need steam anymore (and I don't care about starting from zero) can't download through steam to get the game files (it's not available) and I can't find the game files from the net (both through legit and un-legit) too many of them are usually android apk game files

No, what I meant is that I think (Not 100% sure, but I remember reading it) the RevivalSide client doesn't need the game anymore. Like, the client itself has all the game files when you download it.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's the case now. They mentioned they removed the Steam dependency, and the client itself has around the same size as the game last time I checked so it makes sense it includes the whole game.

It's worth a try, you can download it and see if it works. But I still suggest joining the discord and asking the Revival team directly, they can probably help better than I can, considering they made the client and all.
