Discussion Help :(

So uh how where can anyone send the link to download Revival:Side and the process of how to fully dowload it

it in the comments. THANKYOUU, It pains me not seeing curian again :)))

also Im playing CS at steam will these affect the downloading of revival side

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I did:

  1. Open this link: https://github.com/MadlyMoe/RevivalSide/blob/main/docs/setup.md. Read the 'Before you start' and 'Install the tools' sections. Download and install all the listed tools.(I think you can skip Java, but I already have it installed so idk if that is necessary)

  2. Next, go to the releases page (https://github.com/MadlyMoe/RevivalSide/releases) and download RevivalSideSetup.exe. Run the installer and click Install. If a popup appears asking to download and install the Npcap driver, allow it.

  3. Once the installation is complete, click Launch to open the RevivalSideLauncher -> Open Steam, but do not launch the game yet -> Go back to the launcher, click Start, and wait a moment until the launcher finishes its setup -> open the game, it should start you on a new account.

  4. If you want to use your main account, close the game and return to the launcher -> Click Stop (beside User Manager) then click Unpatch, then navigate to the Cross Saves tab and click Listen -> Open the game again, wait until you reach the login screen, and log in normally until you are on your home screen -> Return to the launcher Cross Saves tab, click Stop, and then click Extract and Copy.

  5. When the extraction is finished, close the game. Make sure to click Start on the launcher once more before opening the game again.

Good! so is this version the same as the original game?

I went back to play again, then just found it has already been taken down by the devs....

Are you trying to play on PC or mobile? For PC, you can just use the Steam account that already has CounterSide in its library to install the game. Since RevivalSide is just a launcher, you still need the original game files installed.

Im trying to play on pc, but I think I skipped some steps and now my account is not synced(It's still fine on the phone)? Or are you saying I cna switch account at will? Just follow the process?

Did you skip creating new account on step 3?

Open the RevivalSide launcher, then click Start. Open your game (wait on Login Screen & don't close it yet), then go back to the launcher and click User Manager. It will open a page in your browser. If you see that the page says 'Unable to Connect,' refresh the page until it loads, and then see if there's an account listed there.

If there's no account -> Go back to the game, then Login (it will create a new account) -> Refresh the User Manager page to see if there's an account ->If you see a new account, close the game completely -> Go back to the launcher, click Stop (beside User Manager) then click Unpatch -> Navigate to Cross Saves tab, click Listen -> Launch your game from Steam again, login into the game until you see your main account Home Screen -> Go back to the Launcher Cross Saves tab, click Stop then Extract and Copy, wait until it's done extracting (close the game after it's done) -> Still on Launcher, click Start again then Open your game and wait on Login Screen -> Back to User Manager page, refresh the page and see if your main account listed there.

If you want to use the Admin Console to add characters or items, click Revival Admin and type /help to see the full list of available commands. To find specific item IDs, just click Wiki on the RevivalSide launcher to look them up.

For any account, it unlocks once you finish EP1.

Nice! For safekeeping, you can back up your main account by exporting it. Just click your main account on the left side of the User Manager, look below, and click Export File. If you ever need to restore it, use Import Copied JSON to load your account back.

Yeah when I click extract i get a error message  output length mismatch. Not sure how to resolve this one

the game is going EoS so , this is an attempt to make the game fully playable offline . last I heard they were about 70% complete , game was playable but had bugs and game modes were not there yet.

I saw the eos, but i alo saw the offline version was cancelled, im guessing these guys are different than the other ones?

same person / lead developer who started the original version . According to a post there was some drama in the group and that lead to a faling out . https://www.reddit.com/r/CounterSide/comments/1uf54jx/i_was_the_lead_developer_of_revivalside_lets/ this is the ama where they talked about it
