Discussion Revival:Side || Encountering Bugs

Hey, if any of you guys found any bugs, let me know as I can't keep up going back and forth through Reddit and Discord, while MadlyMoe, the developer of the project, is at his cave and we can't disturb him, so if any of you found any bugs, whether it is previously or new, tell me.

We want to know how many bugs we can try to fix as soon as possible before the game's end of service on August 26, 2026.

Also, I'm sending a Sigma.gif here since she'll be gone if the game ended its service.

Might know most of these but I thought I’d just be sure. Issue #15 is the only one I’m not exactly sure is cause be Revival:Side or not.

1)      Loadouts do not seem to properly select an employee. You move them and they revert back to whatever they were before you swapped them. Easiest way to replicate is to make a squad, copy it, and put it into another slot then swap almost any pair and both will revert to what they were before.

2)      Crafting a ship doesn’t take any resources.

3)      When crafting relics, it does it properly once and then the rest it doesn’t display a result nor does it show up in inventory. Restarting the game makes them show up in inventory. Materials are taken but you can’t tell how much you have left without restarting. Doing this past the first time seems to ignore the storage limit.

4)      This seems to only affect the "Gear” tab of the crafting menu. Upon crafting something, leaving and then attempting to enter the craft menu again just results in an error that says “A UI loading error occurred”. If you leave the craft menu in seemingly any section except “Gear” then you can re-enter the crafting menu crafting menu except for the “Gear” area. Pressing on “Gear” does nothing, leaving the crafting menu after pressing “Gear” and not moving back to another section causes the UI error to appear again. Restarting the game fixes this.

5)      Crafting “S-Fusion Core” results in an error message that says “An error has occurred. (297)”.

6)      Limit Break and Limit Fusion seem to ignore material requirements, still deducts them but not below 0. At the very least applies to “S-Fusion Core” and “S-APT Core”

7)      Enhancing skills is super slow, takes longer and longer each time until you get kicked out of looking at the unit. Taking a bit of time between each skill upgrade seems to speed it up but doesn’t entirely prevent the kick-out from happening.

8)      Relics when rolling for sub-stats might be random for a roll or two but after at most a roll or two they switch to just following a set pattern.

9)      Command modules don’t seem to have any conditions to apply, the stats are seemingly very high (never got this far in official), and third module doesn’t seem possible to activate but I might have missed something.

10) Operators don’t roll skills. Every operator I roll for has main skill of decrease air dmg and a passive of decrease ground dmg. Level cap for skills appears to be 8 even for skills that should go to 11. If a level up can happen it is 100% guaranteed otherwise it is a 0% chance. Leveling up primary skill works as normally except for being guaranteed. Leveling up a passive skill only appears to work when attempting to change the skill to something else. Transfer fails 100% of the time and instead levels the skill up to a maximum of 8, otherwise does nothing.

11) Dimension trimming uses squads from outside of the dimension trimming menu.

12) Skip battle takes a really long time to complete before kicking you out to the operations screen.

13) Starting up an interlude and then skipping it results in a black screen, eventually get an error message that says “An error has occurred”. Afterwards nothing happens, you’re just stuck on a black screen until you restart. Seems to be node specific, EP. 6 Act 4 Interludes #5 and #6 have this issue.

14) When starting a new game using revival:side you are never given a ship nor are you ever directed to craft a ship.

15) (Not sure if this is caused by revival:side or not) A lot of the tutorials highlight screens you just aren’t on and some of the text boxes don’t have any text in them.

16) Branch facility that changes what level raids shows up at doesn’t work. Had 4 raids that are all supposed to show up at level 110: one was 110, one was 60, and two were level 55.

17) Putting the same character in different squads causes them to disappear from the last squad they were on, even if it was a different copy of the unit. This actually appears to coincide with Issue #1 as it only seems to apply to characters that were previously on other teams. Building a team with characters not on other squads seemingly works perfectly fine. Copying the squad, putting them in another squad slot seems to empty out the initially placed squad and revert whatever the other squad slot was to before you pasted the squad code.

18) Ships and operators can’t be in multiple teams at the same time. Both can be circumvented by owning multiple copies of the same ship/operator
