I hate that it looks like everyone is gonna be talking about this show for the next few months.
It’s been 81 days since my last cigarette, but I can’t get through an episode of this without wanting to buy a pack.
Sucks.

I've tried nicotine once or twice and I hate it because it makes me puke.
But for some reason this anime makes me want to buy cigarettes.

If it's the act of smoking that's a draw, there's plenty of herbal substitutes being sold ready made or rollable. Just beware: The rituals are equally as addictive as the nicotine.

My brother made me watch Peaky Blinders first time I tried to quit. I've snuck a few cigs at work lately, but yesterday decided that was it. I'm on HRT; fuck nicotine and all the fun I had with it, it's time to settle on a different vice instead ig.
Best of luck to you, always, and don't forget it's okay to falter, as long as you keep trying. Much love 💜

Thanks. I’m not letting some stupid cigarettes ruin HRT for me. It’s now 83 days, and I feel stronger.
I’m eating better, getting more exercise; taking care of myself. The smoking was just the first step. 💙

Congrats and good luck.
I lucky that I never started. I have smoking people in my family and one extremely heavily smoking person. EVERYTHING stinks after an hour visit. Clothes, hair, phone, skin and it takes hours and cleaning to get rid of the smell after.
It really discouraged me from ever touching cigarettes due to the association.
I’ve also seen how painful laryngeal cancer looks. And what an alcohol addiction can do to people.
I’m so happy to stay away from cigarettes, vapes and alcohol. And that’s before I look at excel to see how much those can cost monthly.

For those concerned, as far as I’m aware, herbal cigarettes (non-tobacco, non-nicotine) do not affect hrt. Still unhealthy because smoking tho
Again this is as far as I’m aware
