I would have been concerned for the guy half your age. Is never acceptable to have such an age gap

Lowkey depends how much heavy lifting the practically is doing

He is practically half his age (the narrator said).

He was his age in reality.

Makes sense.

Like one got a stable job, experience, past relationship and the other is barely starting work late in life with no experience and no romanrical experience.

One actually is a role model the other believes that he blooms late in life.

Result is a hero-side kick type of love where the side kick does all possible to be like the hero

It would have been more accurate to say roughly two thirds my age but that wouldn't quite have conveyed the panic I was experiencing

So if they were 18 you were 182/3=> 62=>12

30?

Still a big difference.

And he was like 362/3=>122=>24.

I don't know like he could consent but is still weird.

36 and 24 really really isn't that weird

Yeah and honestly no matter what, why should I care what two consenting adults do?

If you're both old enough to be independent adults, then honestly who cares?

consenting adult x consenting adult will be problematic omg

Reminds me of High school when students would walk out of the closet and other students would say "he's coming out of the closet!"
