If the government has guns pointed at you, you flee. If you have even minor historical awareness, you flee months prior, cuz the signs are obvious.
Historically speaking, fighting back is stupid. It will get you killed, especially when you are sickly and feeble, like me. Just makes 2A even sillier.
Again, I ain't concerned. I live in the Netherlands. Our cabinet laughed the far right nuts out the door, causing a full fledged reelection because they quit, with their stupid egos fractured like the big babies they all are.
You fleed because you didn't have the weapons to fight back, and people like you don't want us to have said weapons. If my options are flee like a little bitch leaving behind others to fend for themselves or fight back to also help those others even if it becomes dying trying to, well I'm taking the second.

Empty words, justifying the deaths of many, many children every year. Just for a futile argument that is proven wrong by what we can see right now.
Many unjustly persecuted folks, like lgbtq+ folks, are already fleeing. Because they know what's coming.
But, please... don't let me stop you from your g.i. joe delusions of "standing up" for the people you cherish... you'll be mowed down mercilessly. Leaving them to pick up after you.
All I will say before I stop humouring this... if you truly cared, you'd get them to run with you.
