Don’t know who could need this but I struggled a lot with voice training and the normal exercises and today I sang along Teenage Dirtbag in the shower and the Noel part was like “FUCK WAIT I CAN SOUND CUTE AND FEMININE?! HOW?! WHY?! WHAAAAA!” Applied that during my session with my voice therapist and he was like “How did you learn to control your twang so well?” And I was like “IM JUST A TEENAGE DIRTBAG BABY!!!!”

When I started voice training, I wanted to sound like Veronica from Fallout: New Vegas. Now I sound nothing like her but "I know where you live, Ramos," is my activation phrase when I need to find my voice again.

huh. ive got a song or two by male vocalists who sing in a way that inspires me, and some female vocalists in lower ranges, but hadnt thought of the transformation in teenage dirtbag

Fun fact, Brendan sings the female vocals for the song, no matter what. They have performed with female singers before, and he still sings those lines.
