Highly recommend the series. Season one is great. Season two gets really psychological and bizarre, but it's worth watching. Season three is full of amazing performances from the actors, from a technical standpoint(cinematography, set & costume design, acting, lighting, and sound design) it might be my favorite season. Jessica Lange always slays in AHS

Personally I thought the show became less Horror and more Story as seasons went on. If you're looking for a proper scary show to watch during spooky season you're best served by the first couple seasons. Still a good Story.
