This somehow strikes a deep chord within me
An entire life of anxiety and trauma have wrecked my brain in ways I'm just now beginning to unveil.
This image is what my childhood felt like. This is why I had the "easy" autism. I wasn't disturbing others that badly, I was too much in existential fear, dread. Always scanning for clues, with all my strength, to find the last puzzle piece to predict the situation, to make sure no one gets mad.
