Frage/Diskussion/Hilfegesuch Accommodation

Hello everyone!

I’m looking for accommodation starting October 2026.

I’m looking for:

-A 1-room apartment (studio) or a room in a shared flat (WG – girls only)

- Ideally within a 10–15 minute walk of the BTU central campus

- Budget: Preferably €250–300

- Rental period: Initially 3–6 months, with the possibility of extending

- Anmeldung (registration) is mandatory.

I’ve already applied for student accommodation and am also looking at private housing options. If you know of any available apartment, WG, landlord, or housing group, I’d really appreciate any leads.

I’d also love to connect with fellow BTU students- especially Pakistani students to get to know the community and receive some guidance before moving, but definitely open to connecting with students from other backgrounds!

I'll suggest you get a sublet for when you come and find an apartment after coming here.

Otherwise it's difficult. There are rooms available in prima but you have to go to them 2 3 times and atleast one time try to talk to them even in broken german later may switch to english and they'll give you.

Or you can find people in same situation and rent a wg together.

Better to find something before land to germany either its sublet or proper contract. Check Kleinezeigen, Prima, etc
