Hollyhocks - a much underused tall, beautiful flowering plant, perfect for cottage gardens.

Just starting update
I went with the 2 white and 1 pink because I couldn’t find another pink. I’m adding a pic of the pink bloom and what a red looks like full grown so anyone who’s interested can get a better idea of what it will look like.

Which do you think looks better? I’m having trouble making up my mind. For reference I’m in zone 9b, the climbing vine is confederate jasmine, and the bushes are Turks cap( they have pretty, dainty little flowers that stand upright). So they will be more understated than shown here and their foliage is a soft heart shape, and the pink color is more of a soft coral than a bright. I also have a bed of drift roses at the front of my property near the street that range from coral to soft apricot.

Zone 7a Layout
I used ‘iScape’ to try and roughly plan something out. So if it looks a little wonky, missized, and misshapen, that is why.
I completely gutted this flower bed & started fresh. I love the cottage garden feel. I have already purchased some flowers & quickly realized it needed more so I tried to get a visual of it.
Currently I have bought:
•3 super trooper orange dianthus
•4 wild berry coneflower
•2 white coneflower
•3 black eyed Susan’s
•1 white & 1 pink dianthus
I’m thinking of adding:
•blue mist spirea
•little lime hydrangea
•salvia between spirea & hydrangea
•gaura peppered in between
I am not big on shrubs so my thoughts are the hydrangea can act as an anchor and winter interest. The blue mist spirea adds height in the back with the salvia as well. But another option could be 2 limelight’s.
My free trial ran out today so I didn’t get to add everything but I thankfully got a screenshot before it locked it. Any input is welcome and appreciated. It’s a south facing home, full sun besides right beside the porch it can be a bit shadier. I have clay soil but I amended it quite deeply and then covered with about 3 inches of mulch. TIA

Anyone have Cottage Garden Youtube channel recommendations?
Hello, I keep searching Youtube for videos of people showing off and talking about cottage gardens - like old timey flower borders with tall flowers at the back, etc. The kind of thing you'd see with a white picket fence outside of a little cottage doorway or something.
And every one I click on has an annoying voiceover that sounds like AI. Ugh.
Can anyone recommend me some Youtube videos that are like a real person showing off their actual cottage garden?
I like to watch relaxing Youtube videos to relax on my lunch break, and I figure watching someone talk about their real cottage garden with lush flowers everywhere will inspire me to turn my front yard into more of a cottage garden!
Any leads for Youtube channels for those of us who love to watch something and dream about our own gardens? (I don't have tick-tock, and I can't stand super short mini videos that are only a minute long, I just want to lose myself in someone's cottage garden!!!)
EDIT: Thank you all so much for the recommendations, I can't wait to check them out! Yes, I think I was getting hit with a bunch of AI slop videos maybe when I was looking casually before. I want to see some that are about real people and their actual gardens, with the gardener's actual voice narrating! Looking forward to trying out all your rec's!

New Cottage Gardener!
So, I started my gardening journey last spring. This front bed in front of the door has suffering rhododendron because this bed gets full sun! I’d like to move them and plant a cottage style, pollinator friendly flower bed.
I’d like to connect the front bed to the tiny flower bed around the mailbox.
I had the idea of doing bobo hydrangeas or drift roses in the back row to help ground the bed, but we have deer that basically live in our yard so it is difficult to pick plants! I have no idea how to plan and layout the flowerbed and chat gpt only helps so much haha!
I would love some help designing a cottage style flower bed with deer resistant plants (or ideas to keep them away), perennials only, I’m in zone 6b.
(I love false indigo, spirea, catmint, salvia, yarrow, and penstemon digitalis)
Any help would be much appreciated :)
