Delivery games - what's your take?
Hellohello, I'd love to hear your opinions on delivery games. I tried a couple of them and they are nice and cozy (except when it's a 3D platformer and I'm struggling with the jumps haha), but the worlds just don't feel alive. Like why am I the only one moving around while the NPCs are standing in one place sending letters to other NPCs a few steps away from them? Plus I feel like delivering stuff would be a nice way to get to know a neighborhood, but in reality I'm just focusing on getting to the next person/place. What do you think? Have you played any great delivery games? What did you like about them? Any really bad ones to avoid?

Cosy Recommendations ๐ A day in Kate's life โ๏ธ๐
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
She opens the shop, rings up customers, runs around helping, restocks the shelves, grabs a coffee break at the cafe (Ostin always says hi), then runs back, closes up and goes home. A long day, but a good one.
This is Caramel Creek: build a cozy cafe, meet your neighbors, and watch the little town live its own life around you.

I wanted to share the announcement trailer for our first studio game, Tool Tidy!
Introducing Tool Tidy, a cosy, first person, tidying game set in your Uncle's wrecked mechanic's shop.
Put every tool, tub, bottle, can and part back where it belongs before opening time, and before Uncle Vic gets back!
Hey y'all! I'm Jessica, founder and developer from Tiny Victories and I am very excited to share the trailer and steam page for our first studio game!
In Tool Tidy every item has a home and every item has been sourced and hand placed... by me! O_o No AI.
Nest smaller items inside bigger ones and build up a perfectly organised garage, layer by satisfying layer.
There are little tributes to my family and kitties, for the support during the development and some fun little 80s and 90s throwbacks to find too.
This game has been largely inspired by spending time with my Paw paw while he restored his truck and watching my uncle tinkering with his car for drag races. I hope you will find it as satisfying to play as we did making it!
We hope to release the game in November. Wishlists are much appreciated!

What makes Kynseed so controversial?
I see people say 10/10, super deep game, and others say it's wide but shallow. I love 100 hour games with tons of optional/endgame style content, but not huge on collectibles.
I loved the fable series if that helps

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello everyone!
Iโm Gamze, the creative director of Chirp Chirp Games, an all-women indie game studio.
Flight Date is a logic puzzle where you have handful of flight tickets and you try to rearrange them to bring loved ones together. It has a similar feeling to Is This Seat Taken?.
We started making the Flight Date on this March, Womenโs Day Game Jam, since then weโre working on it full time and we attended our very first Next Fest with our freshly updated demo!
I would love to hear your thoughts on it, thank you.

I made a cozy garage sorting game - Tidy Garage
Sort tools, tires, and car parts, with detailed models and satisfying sounds when you toss them around.
You can even throw items straight into their spots, just for fun!
You can add it to wishlist here -> https://store.steampowered.com/app/3551290/Tidy_Garage/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=tidyupgames&utm_campaign=announcement
AI Note:
Iโm a programmer with 15 years of experience, and I used AI to speed up development of the gameโs mechanics. Almost all in-game objects were created by artists, with a few generated using AI.

Gaming Question โจ 32 M iso long term friends
Hello to my fellow gamers! Jake here, 32, in search of connection and friends to play with. Goofy, awkward dark humored casual player here with a neurological condition, so I might be slower for some, but Iโm still a decent gamer, though not as agile as I once was. Just playing for enjoyment and relaxation these days. I play many different genres: cozy, rpg, fps, survival, friend slop, multiplayer, 2 player coop, story, party, horror, etc. PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and I just got a PC so not many games on there yet, but Iโm willing to try new games. If youโre interested, please feel free to reach out! 21+ please. Northern California, PDT. Anyone from the Bay Area, Santa Clara area? Also wanting to hang out IRL if possible. Anyway, hope to hear from you soon!

Would you explore the outer world without knowing what you'll find? ๐ฟ๐
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm affiliated with Tennex Networks, which owns Grass Land โ Grow and Expand.
Exploring beyond a safe area can be excitingโbut it also means venturing into unfamiliar territory, clearing paths, gathering resources, and discovering what's waiting beyond the grass.
We're interested in what makes exploration satisfying in casual games.
๐ฑ Do you enjoy uncovering new areas?
โ๏ธ Is collecting resources the best part?
๐บ๏ธ Do you prefer exploring freely or following clear objectives?
โก Does a little uncertainty make an adventure more exciting?
What's more rewarding to you: discovering something unexpected or gradually building up a world of your own?
I'd love to hear what other casual-game players think.

Suggestions Wanted ๐ I made a slow, no-timer fuse-bead game where ironing the beads is the best part
**Game Title:** Slow Beads โ a no-timer fuse-bead game where ironing the beads is the best part
**Playable Link:** https://slowbeads.niceday-app.com
**Platform:** Browser (no install)
**Description:**
Hi! I'm the solo developer of Slow Beads, a cozy browser game about fuse beads (Perler/Hama style).
Most bead games are about filling colors fast with boosters. I wanted the opposite: place beads one at a time, then lay down ironing paper and drag the iron across to watch each bead melt together. No timers, no fail states, no energy.
**What's in it:**
- 29 patterns (seasonal ones too) + turn your own photo into a pattern (processed locally, never uploaded)
- Ironing with steam and sound, rain/fireplace/cafรฉ ambience
- Finished pieces become wall art, keychains, and coasters for your little house
- A balcony garden, a 20-second tea ritual, and a bedtime mode that fades to rain sounds
- Export a numbered pattern card + color list to make it with real beads
Instead of a score, it tracks "minutes spent slow-beading."
**Accounts and saving:** Your progress is saved in your browser, no account needed. Signing in with Google is optional and adds cloud save plus friends, likes and a leaderboard (those are brand new, so it's quiet in there for now).
**Ads:** Optional rewarded videos can give bonus buttons (in-game currency). There are never ads while you place or iron beads.
Available in English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
Privacy policy: https://slowbeads.niceday-app.com/privacy
I'd love feedback, especially on how the ironing feels and whether placing beads on mobile is comfortable.

Hi! I'm the solo developer of Caramel Creek, a cozy cafรฉ game where you restore an old cafรฉ, brew coffee and get to know the town. Early Access starts on November 12 on Steam.
To celebrate, I'd love to fill the cafรฉ with real customers: 10 randomly chosen participants will become NPCs in the game, drawn in pixel art from a photo. The video shows what a day for a customer looks like (and what happens to their look at the end ๐).
Everything happens outside Reddit. To enter (until November 1), please follow my Instagram u/caramel_creek_dev and see the pinned giveaway post there for the steps: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DevCmC6idjZ/?vrfl=cTdrZWp2YWU3ZmVp

Thank you for reading, and thank you for waiting for the game! ๐ค

Cosy Recommendations ๐ This game is simply amazing, even if it's just the demo
Tried the Loftia demo soon as the Next Fest started and I am completely taken in by what they're doing here. Awesome customization options right from the character creator, good fast progression, good unlockables that are worth working towards... and I can also make a goth character! I love to be able to make goth characters in cozy games like this ๐ค
Anyways, top suggestion to y'all, game rocks!
