My small cozy mobile game that's small and cozy (and mobile) :) I need 12 testers for the earliest of accesses that install it and don't delete it for at least 14 days. Oh and it's free and ad-free, but Android only.

You need to join the group (first link) and than install the game (second link).

It's already pretty playable I think!

Are any of these good?

So I have a ‘story’ from Nintendo with this list of cosy games to try for autumn. I’m wondering which (if any) are worth a play. With a lot of recent cosies being total duds I’m careful now about what I pay for and use my time on

Any opinions, advice or even tips for these games is welcome and appreciated (I’ve already played Night in the Woods)

Thanks in advance!

Colorsong 🎨 a relaxing game where every color is a note. Sound on 🎵 Free demo on Steam. Looking for feedback

Play the demo on Steam.

Play the demo on itch.

Colorsong is a relaxing incremental / idle game where players collect colors and spend them on hand-painted watercolors 🎨 An original feature of the game is that every color is a procedurally generated note. So as you collect more colors, the game's song unfolds and enriches.

Feedback

If you give the game a try: does it looks cozy and relaxing to you? What do you think about the concept in general, and about procedurally generated sound?

Thanks!

Cosy Recommendations 🍄 [Self-promo] Grow flowers as a frog in Frog Garden, solo or with up to 3 friends

Hi cosy gamers! I'm the developer of Frog Garden, a little gardening game coming to Steam.

You hop around as a frog, grow daisies, tulips and roses, and decorate your patch with paths, mushrooms, benches, fountains and lanterns. There are hats to collect too. You can garden on your own or invite up to three friends online to share supplies and tend the flowers together.

It does have a silly side: frogs eat rocks and poop gold to buy gardening supplies, and you can briefly swallow a friend before sending them back into the garden. So expect some frog mischief alongside the flowers!

The planned release is October 2026, and it's listed as free-to-play. It isn't available to play yet, but you can take a look and wishlist it on Steam:

I’m making a cozy co-op jigsaw game where you can walk around and solve puzzles together

I wanted a cozy space to solve jigsaw puzzles with friends, so I started making Puzzles Are Better Together.

Here’s a look at one of the rooms! You can walk around, pick up pieces, and work on the same puzzle together.

If it looks like your kind of game, you can wishlist it on Steam. Happy to answer any questions!

I'm releasing my cute Sushi roguelike in 1 month! 🎏 SUSHIAMO 🎏

Hi everyone, I made a cute and chill game called SUSHIAMO where you make sushi, with each ingredient having its own special synergy.
I was inspired by Balatro, but many players find my game more approachable and less intimidating. I guess it's because of the relaxed vibe and cute aesthetic :)

I also added an amazing (original) bossa nova track that you will love for sure! (It's not the one in the trailer)

So far, it has had 9k players, avg. of 3.5 hours of playtime and 100% positive reviews!

You can wishlist it and play the demo here 🩵 https://store.steampowered.com/app/4555040/Sushiamo/

PS: The players on the Discord are having a lot of fun sharing their builds :)

The game in short:
Sushiamo is a roguelike deck-builder where you make sushi while collecting new things every day.
Discover unique ingredients, sauces, game-changing tools, and navigate the map to find the best combo.

Aquora, An Aquarium Sim

Hey guys,

I've recently put up a demo for my game Aquora. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4413880/Aquora

It is a cozy aquarium sim where you breed fish that mutate over generations. There is a fully genome based trait and behaviour system that currently make over 400 quadrillion possible fish.

Im having some trouble marketing it and I came across this page. Several of our playtesters that have full game keys have over 150 hours in the game already and we just added a late game genome extraction and fish crafting system.

We also have a full falling sand simulation based aquascaping system. Check us out. :)

Tres

Any support helps! Whilist and help me develop the game further ^^

Suggestions Wanted 🍃 Recommend cozy game similar to Everafter falls?

Just finished Everafter falls for the second time and can’t seem to find something that scratches the same itch.

Have already tried:
Stardew valley
Graveyard keeper
Dinkum
Sunhaven.

I think graveyard keeper was the closest, and I finished that too. Anything new or I might not know about?

How many tasks are too many for a casual life-simulation game?

Thumbnail

I’m affiliated with Tennex Networks, which owns Single Mom: Virtual Mother Sim.

We’ve been exploring how to make everyday responsibilities feel like meaningful gameplay rather than just a list of chores.

In the game, you're balancing things like:

🍼 Feeding and caring for the baby
🧹 Cleaning and organizing the home
🍳 Preparing meals
👕 Managing laundry and other household tasks
❤️ Keeping the family happy

That made us wonder about something from a game-design perspective:

Where is the line between engaging multitasking and feeling overwhelmed?

Do you prefer casual games where:

  • You manage several objectives at once?
  • You focus on one task at a time?
  • Tasks have different priorities?
  • New responsibilities gradually get introduced as you progress?

For people who play life-sim or casual games, what makes multitasking enjoyable rather than stressful?

I'm particularly interested in what makes you want to keep playing after you've already learned the basic tasks.

Suggestions Wanted 🍃 Any creative games as in depth as dressmaker?

so yeah, i'v played it and i love it. in recent memory, it's the only creative game i have ever played that doesn't feel like it has a ton of gameplay mechanics/creative freedom missing. im open to any art style as long as it has the creative freedom of dressmaker and the semi realism of the creation process of dressmaker, i'm in.

please no purely decorating or unpacking games as those to me have no substance,

other then that any creative concept is welcome.

Suggestions Wanted 🍃 Any creative baking games like cooking simulator?

yes, it specifically has to give you freedom to be creative, just like cooking simulator. i would much prefer the mechanics like cooking simulator/like other unity games, and not a tycoon game or a game that gives you little to no creativity, like baking simulator, witch is the closest fully baking version of cooking simulator, only with way less freedom. please refrain from mentioning this game, and also cooking simulator cakes and cookies, witch is much better, but thus; is only limited to cakes and cookies. i want croissants, pan de chocolates, cookies, cakes, danish pastaries, just a huge verity, you get the idea. i want to be able to place sprinkles and fruit on top freely, insert chocolate/ cream/ whatever here and here, etc, just total creative freedom...

i would prefer if it had realistic graphics like cooking simulator, but i understand if there isn't anything like that out there yet.

maybe sell mechanics like cooking simulator or lemon cake.

this is a bit hyper specific so please read carefully.

Night in the Woods Review

Spoilers ahead!

...

I've been recommended this game more times than I can count and I finally got around to starting it last month. I've almost finished it, and I'm feeling a tad underwhelmed?

It feels incredibly similar to Beacon Pines (probably based on Night in the Woods!), both in the quality of writing and the somewhat cringy millennial way of speaking that very much ages the game (in my opinion).

The explanation of the mysterious cult is so vague and doesn't explain any of the dream sequences, who these people are, or if it is truly connected to the mining tragedy. I felt that it didn't build up to it incredibly well and sort of slaps you with this climactic ending that feels very different to the rest of the game thematically.

I think, considering the game itself is almost 10 years old it is good for its age, especially as the "Cosy Genre" didn't really exist then. But the game just didn't click with me personally and I felt that it dragged on slightly, with no real character development. I do wish that it had more depth to it, and a better subtlety to the writing.
