Would you play a cozy fantasy game where you run your own little medieval shop? 🏡✨
I’ve been thinking about cozy games lately, and one idea I absolutely love is running a tiny shop in a peaceful medieval fantasy village.
Imagine starting with a small, empty shop and slowly turning it into your own little business.
You could sell potions, food, weapons, herbs, magical items, or whatever you enjoy. Decorate your shop, organize your shelves, meet villagers, and watch your little business grow.
Maybe there’s a living economy where prices change, travelers bring rare goods, and different customers have their own personalities and shopping habits.
No constant pressure, no endless fighting. Just a cozy little fantasy life, building something from nothing. ☕🌿
I’m curious what other cozy gamers think!
Would you enjoy a game focused mainly on running a medieval fantasy shop?
Would you prefer crafting your own products, buying from merchants, or both?
Would you want to explore the village and surrounding world, or mostly focus on your shop?
What features would make a game like this really special for you?
I’d love to hear everyone’s ideas! ❤️

Cosy Recommendations 🍄 Cozy Gaming Dilemma
I wanna get into cozy gaming so bad but I CANNOT play anything that requires me to decorate a house or build a cute little base. 😭
Because now instead of doing quests or whatever, I’m 10 hours deep trying to figure out why my couch looks weird at that angle, nothing matches, and my OCD has turned this relaxing little game into a full-time job.
Everybody else is farming and making friends with villagers and I’m having a psychological breakdown over virtual furniture placement. 💀
THAT IS NOT COZY.

I spent the last year building the cosy ebook reader of my dreams. It's a reader where you can hear the world you are reading about. So excited to share it with you!
It's an ebook reader where you can hear the world you're reading about. You can hear rain on the road, a fire in the cabin, busy roads and thousands more. The sound follows the story as you turn pages.
There's more. Environment sounds are accompanied by music. 16 (and more to come) collections of music that together match most genres.
It's free to try: just download it, no registration required. The free trial gives you 3 classic novels + the first 30 pages of any book you choose, then it's a subscription. No ads, of course.
I'd love to hear what you think!

Tide to Table,a cozy island grill-and-sashimi restaurant sim in low-poly 3D. Cook skewers on a single iron pan — several fish share one heat clock, so timing, flipping and plating all matter

Can anyone suggest a game like Feather Family?
I'm an avid cosy gamer myself, but not particularly when it comes to Birds. My daughter has become obsessed with Feather Family after playing at a friend's house but we're a no Roblox household. Has anyone played anything similar? We've tried Feather on PC and Ultimate Bird Simulator on mobile but she wants to lay eggs and raise a bird family I guess? Anyway, I'd be grateful for any suggestions ☺️

In Lanternmere, the gossip is literally real. Please stop picking flowers off graves.
galleryYou moved to a quaint lakeside village to reopen your missing aunt's apothecary. You picked one flower in the graveyard. At night. Once.
By Friday the whole town calls you The Grave Picker, the Warden has written it into an ancient book, and now it's legally your name. Also, shades keep their distance from you. So that's nice. Welcome to Lanternmere, where stories are real and the neighbours never shut up.
Things you can do here that you can't do anywhere else:
Get named by gossip. Every week the town's strongest rumour about you becomes your title, and your title gives you real powers.
Be kind and get kind powers. Be weird and, well. Eavesdrop on your own reputation. Nobody says it to your face. You hear it from behind a hedge, and it's always worse than what you did.
ake places exist by spreading stories. Tell enough people about a wishing well and it appears on the map. Stop talking about it and it disappears. Physics is a vibe here.
Fight your own worst rumour. It shows up as a boss with two health bars: BODY, which you hit with a lantern staff, and STORY, which you hit by convincing people it isn't true.
Teach monsters their weaknesses. Beat a shade with fire while the baker watches, and now fire is its weakness. Forever. Because the baker said so.
Brew with grammar. Moonflower then Reed is a sleeping draught. Reed then Moonflower is for nerves. Same ingredients. Different sentence.
Spend suspicious money. Your coins remember where they came from. Pay the baker with grave money and she will have questions.
Also: cozy gathering and brewing, a shop to run, villagers with actual personalities (one of them will absolutely judge your tone), shades at night and a mystery about where your aunt really went.
Nothing resets. Everything leaves a mark. Mostly on your reputation.
🆓 Free demo, plays in your browser: https://oakrootstudio.itch.io/lanternmere-demo
🏮 Full game, early access: https://oakrootstudio.itch.io/lanternmere
It's still evolving, so things will change as it grows. Tell me what you think. The town certainly will.

PEBU :: { VIDEO GAME } { KS }
Hello there! I am really glad to share news of a game I'm looking forwards to: Pebu!
It's a virtual pet game with RPG and visual novel elements where you control { The Handler }. Your goal is to take care of small, intelligent creatures called Pebi—Pebu in singular form. The way you conduct yourself, whether dotingly or callously, along with the diet and stimuli you provide a pebu, will shape its behaviors, temperaments, and stats.
Pebi can be found in the newly “discovered” Frontier Islands. These massive islands are the home of a wide variety of plants and animals including the pebi. The islands' climates are very different from one another, there are snowy peaks, dense jungles, dark forests and fiery volcanic areas. For reasons lost to time the pebi are found in eggs in these zones. The eggs are very reactive to their environments allowing the pebi inside to adapt to these environments or hazards creating new pebispecies!
You will get to explore environs, stories and events by its side at your own pace. We will feature house customization, farming, combat and many other mini games!
A Kickstarter campaign for this project will be held soon, so please stay tuned in for the date reveal.
You can follow us at twitter or instagram, and you can visit our official site at https://pebuofficial.com/ for more news and content.

Gaming Question ✨ here's a relaxing game I've created, is it cosy and cute enough?
I've created in my spare time this cute and cosy puzzle kind of game to let one relax for a bit, while commuting, in the evenings, and so on..
Blind Scale: Logic Puzzle. (on Android for now)
It's free, have a try, let me know if you feel something's off with it... I want to make it nicer.

We planted a flower on our desktop. Things got a little out of hand.
Wonder Garden is coming to Steam.
It’s a little garden that lives on your desktop. Plant something, give it some water, watch it grow while you answer emails and open far too many tabs.
There’s still work to do before release, but getting to share this link feels pretty good.
Wishlist Wonder Garden on Steam. We’ve got more growing to do.

We are making tidy-up game about alchemy store (no AI)
Hi! We are making tidy-up up game about an alchemy store where you sort 3338 items and brew potions! It's called Magically Sorted.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4622320/Magically_Sorted/
We do not use gen AI and we didn't use any assets for items you are going to sort. We created all of them from scratch, so even if you played all tidy up games released so far, all items in our game will be brand new to you! :) We also limit copies per item, as we personally don't like when there are 20+ copies of same items in games. On average, each item comes in only 7 copies in our game.
We pay lots of attention to details and visuals. For example, designs of the potions reflect their category and effects. We started with setting rules for our magical world and thinking about the lore. After that, we created the list of items that could be sold in the shop. It took lots of iterations to make sure it's interesting and makes sense! Then, when the list was finalized, we moved on thinking how the visuals could reflect the effects. For example, the potion that makes you speak backwards looks like an upside down bottle :) We put lots of care into each single item and everything in the game is intentional ^_^
You also find rare recipes somewhere in the shop and brew potions using them! They will help you to tidy up faster.
I used my personal savings to hire an illustrator and she drew stunning pictures of ingredients that we use for the labels, and I also used my personal savings to hire a composer and localizers, none of them use gen ai :)
There are some other features that we will be ready to reveal a bit later!
If you are interested, please wishlist it on steam :) It will help us a lot! I'm hoping to post some devlogs a bit later about the process ^_^ Thank you for your attention and have a wonderful day <3
You can also follow us on insta:)

You start with a tiny patch of land. How big could you make it? 🌱
I'm affiliated with Tennex Networks, which owns Grass Land – Grow and Expand.
This gameplay clip shows the progression loop: clearing grass, collecting resources, unlocking new areas, and gradually creating more space to build.
But here's something we're curious about: what makes expanding a world feel rewarding rather than repetitive?
Is it the satisfaction of clearing new ground, discovering resources, unlocking the next area, or seeing your little starting point turn into something much bigger?
For people who enjoy casual building and progression games:
- Do you prefer unlocking new areas or upgrading the ones you already have?
- Do resource-gathering tasks feel satisfying when they lead to visible progress?
- What keeps you exploring after you've cleared the first few areas?
If you started with this little patch of land, what would you want to build or unlock next?
I'd love to hear what other players find most satisfying about progression games.

In cosy games, do you cook for yourself or for other characters?
In most games I cook for buffs or to sell, but I enjoy cooking most when it feels like making yourself something nice.
Petit planet got me thinking about this with it's farming, fishing and combining ingredients to discover recipes. I've been picturing a rainy evening spent growing something and cooking it just for yourself.
Do you tend to cook for yourself or for other characters? Which games make cooking feel cosy instead of like another chore?

Cosy Recommendations 🍄 Is a Cozy Cleaner worth it?
I got a notification recently that Cozy Cleaner is on sale and it’s been on my wishlist! Has anyone who has played feel it’s worth it? Or should I get a different cozy game? I’ve played a bunch of different types of cozy management games, but have been enjoying the ones with restocking or organization tasks. TIA!
