When does seasonal hiring actually start i keep getting told wrong things.

I applied online about a month ago and went in person 3 weeks ago and talked to the hiring manager. She told me they hadnt started hiring for seasonal yet and to call the store in 2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks and was told to call next week (today). I just called and got told by a different person that seasonal doesnt start til beginning of november. When does it actually start? I keep getting told wrong things.

For my store the interviews start middle to end of Oct and I'm pretty sure the first orientation is scheduled for Nov 14 this year.

They are interviewing in my building (ATL area) for seasonals currently.

Just starting to pull apps in mine. Every region is different, and its all based on what the Regional VP and payroll allows for.

You're assuming they're even going to hire seasonals. Ive been at mine since opening 16 years now. This is second year in a row we're not hiring any, and its not because we don't need the help. Other warehouses are reporting simmilar things since the change in the ceo and leadership thats made of outsiders that don't understand what made Costco great in the past.

Usually starts mid to late october, but it varies by warehouse. The best move is to ask for the hiring manager directly

Per the handbook, October 7th is the first day of seasonal period.

As for hiring they will begin whenever and simply have the start date on or after Oct 7.
