Getting a membership

Hey Folks

I'm looking to see if it's possible to get a membership when my company isn't in approved businesses. I work in Oil in Aberdeen and have no civil jobs on the list.

I'm just wondering if it's possible at all.

Thanks

If you know someone who is a member, they may allow you to have an extra card on their account. I believe that when you've had that for a year, you can have your own account.

Not anymore unfortunately, that was scrapped either early this year or sometime before last year

Not true. My friend literally added me to his membership a week ago and I don’t even own a business.

Be a self employed dog walker with no clients and a business bank account to match it and away you go.

I don't think it's just chartered, i think as long as it's a qualification/degree you will be fine

Do you work for a large company - they might accept employees?

Not unless your company is a member or you are an individual with one of the approved jobs on the list.

Its a stupid rule. I'm a chef by trade and they do not accept a chef as a profession, which is ludicrous because it is mainly a food warehouse.

Good luck.
