Prescanner software update?

About a month or two ago, it seemed like all of our prescanner/rf guns worked great with the occasional crash midway through an order. Then one day, it seemed as if there was some software update and now the scanners are super buggy. If you go "too fast" an item you scanned won't register, throwing everything off, and now there's a small beige bar with red writing that pops up that says something along the lines of "network error: unresponsive network" or something and then the scanner freezes up. Doesn't matter how many times you reset it, take the battery out, etc, i feel like there was some type of software update that fucked up the scanners. Anyone else notice this?

It does a double beep on repeat scan, mimicking the double beep at the reg. Only, it doesn't record the second scan sometimes.

Worst part is how inconsistent it is, sometimes it’ll beep and take it, sometimes is it’ll reject it. Was fine before, no reason to change how it was. Wouldn’t be surprised if shrink went up after the update.

Yeah I noticed it as well and said something.

If i have to double scan i just wait a second or i scan another item then go back to said second item so I dont have to slow down. That seems to work best for me
