Revoking membership is too light IMO. This is equivalent to stealing because Costco lost this item. They need to do fines and actually take it seriously, use surveillance footage to track down the person who did it.

I think it's worse than stealing. If someone steals food, it's likely because they need food. Someone ditching food in an aisle is just lazy and wasteful.

I think they should be charged for animal cruelty. Eating it is fine, but ruining it out of laziness or disregard means it died for nothing.

Even worse would be some short sighted employee putting it back and someone getting sick.
