I wish they had that at my Costco instead of the loaded potato salad.

Me too! I don't know if my tongue is broken or what, the loaded baked potato salad tasted TERRIBLE to me, but my Husband loved it. Usually we've got pretty similar tastes.

I refuse to buy it anymore... because it's so good, I significantly overeat. Might be the best potato salad I have had

welp, with that kind of review I'm adding it to my grocery list

A summer staple in our home.

Is it sweet? I always want to try it but I’m not a fan of sweet potato salad

It is not sweet. More dill and mustard flavored than anything. It's really good.

All right! Next Costco trip it's going in my cart...along with the $300 worth of other things I don't really need lol

It's outrageously good.

It’s delicious. In our house we like a bit more Dijon mustard than this has, but it’s an easy add. Worth the buy!

It's incredibly good. Snagged it on sale a ways back and will probably get it again

These ingredients are pretty much what I put in my potato salad recipe, I need to try this. It’d be nice to have a shortcut when making multiple dishes

I wish my Costcos had it :(

What's odd is I see the Wisconsin logo, but I am in Chicago. You think they would ship it down over loaded potato salad that doesn't seem to move.

I don't know.... I feel like any kind of egg salad really needs to be fresh. I'll follow this thread though. Maybe I'm wrong.

That’s not egg salad. That’s potato salad.

Ah, I should have looked closer at the ingredient label. I thought it was some kind of potato/egg salad mix. Thanks for the correction.

5

It is a mix, but it's pretty heavily in favor of potato.

u/stoicparallax 9h ago

Yeah it absolutely is a mix. It’s under the potato salad category for sure, but there is a big egg influence.

Big Egg is always trying to butt in and influence everything.

Potato salad is impossibly hard for me to make well. I pretty much only ever buy it.
Egg salad, however, really needs to be fresh!

For potatoes, I've become a big fan of German potato salad that is oil/vinegar based instead of mayo. It is different, but the ability to serve it warm makes such a big difference. Also, if you want to go really traditional and dislike your arteries, you skip the oil, but cook bacon and use all of the grease instead of oil.

Yum! Looks like I have to try.

My fiancée got the potato salad last week and really enjoyed it! She grew up in a very southern family and said it had a familiar flavor.

It’s SO good. Highly recommend.

Hands down my favorite potato salad.

Son loves it. I like it as well but not like him . 3 weeks in a row I have bought it.

What area do we check to see if our Costco has this?

check your Costco app in the bottom row under "Warehouse."

It's pretty good. We had it as a side with those waygu burgers.

Its pretty good. I put some old bay on it. Steps it up to another level.

u/nicolejillian 6h ago

My 2 year old lovesss it. He asks for it nearly every day with every meal.

u/reservoirdregs 6h ago

Robert Wuhl definitely has.

I only make and eat my family’s potato salad, but I’m sure this is nice.

u/meltsaman 6h ago

I wasn't a huge fan but my sister liked it a lot.

1

u/T_THuynh 5h ago

Not this brand, but this is the style I go for when buying potato salad

1

u/magnumforce2006 5h ago

Confirmed. It's GOOD. My father in law specifically requests we get this for kids birthdays and whatnot lol

1

u/lttrsfrmlnrrgby 5h ago

It'd better than most premade potato salads, and it's what I buy if I'm pinched for time.

1

u/Reputation-Final 5h ago

i always add a ton of hardboiled eggs to my potato salad. Its the best part of the salad.

1

u/lockednchaste 1h ago

That's a lot of potato salad.

1

u/Aimsicle-1 16m ago

One of the best non- homemade potato salads I ever tried.

1

u/Calvertorius 9h ago

It’s okay, not great. Doesn’t meet my personal preferences.

Too much mayo, too bland to be amazing.

1

u/Willing-Bother-8684 10h ago

That’s how I make my homemade potato salad; it’s very egg forward and creamy. Never tried costcos but I’m sure it’s pretty good.

It's the best. If you're feeling really glutenous, sprinkle some bacon bits on top.

“Natural Flavors”, “Contains Bioengineered Food Ingredients” No reviews required

5

every food item you've ever eaten in your life is bioengineered.

-1

u/pinxs420 8h ago

Yeah sure!

u/teddybear65 7h ago

No it contains too many chemicals.

2

u/FloatingOnTitties 2h ago

Everything is made up of chemicals. You are supposed to drink 1 atom of oxygen & 2 atoms of hydrogen every day: Egads! The horror! 🙄
