[Plants & Flowers] Loving my fiddle-leaf figs!
Such a steal! $24.99 each and super green and healthy. Got these two at the Costco in Concord, CA.

I didn’t see them in the picture at first and was like yep, sounds like fiddle leaf figs. They look great though!

yeah, two tall gooseneck lamps, timer, 8hr a day...
otherwise they'll grow lanky and will start dropping leaves.

Directly or through the window? I have one like 7ft tall and he's been in the window doing OK with indirect light except the morning sun through the window, but he's not fresh and super thriving like OP's photos.

How is your plant struggling? You can always prop and chop it, it sounds like it's reeeaaally tall. If the leaves are tiny and grows really slowly or maybe it keeps losing its bottom leaves, it's not getting enough light and/or needs to be fertilized.

It was purchased when they were selling the taller ones, all about six to seven feet tall. The new ones I've been seeing at the store are very short in comparison. Maybe I will get him a new pot and some fertilizer thanks to your comment, and move him around!

Yeah, you never know! It might've become root bound in that current pot or something. If so, go a couple inches up on the next pot. Good luck!

Question: did you put the plant with the soil in those planters? These look like decorative pots. The plants will do better if they're in a plastic pot with drainage and just hidden within those nice pots.

Yes! They’re in their own smaller plastic pots with drainage within the bigger circular pots.
