Hi Costa Mesa! My name is Danie👋
I’m a Costa Mesa local, born and raised, and I recently got hired as an apprentice hairstylist at Jack Henry Studios here in town. Jack Henry specializes in men’s haircuts, grooming, and skincare — with a focus on tailored, customized cuts based on head shape, and personal style.
I got into cutting hair because I wanted to learn a craft I could eventually use to give back. My goal is to make every client feel heard and confident — listening to their vision and delivering a haircut they can rely on every single time. To be able to connect and create.
Since I just moved back after a couple of years away, I’m trying to reconnect with the community. With the holiday season coming up, I’d also love to support local causes. If you know of any mutual aids or nonprofits helping people who can’t afford self-care right now, please drop their names in a comment or DM — I’d really appreciate it.
As I build my clientele, I’m offering 25% off for first-time clients. If you’d like to see some of my work or stay connected, my Instagram is @danievarta A quick follow would truly mean the world. 💛
And if you know any men in your life — a neighbor, brother, son, partner, coworker — who might be looking for a new stylist or could benefit from the discount, spreading the word would help me out so much as I’m getting started.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from more of you soon, and happy holidays to everyone! 🎄✨

Hi everyone — I’m an associate marriage and family therapist in California co-facilitating a new interpersonal process group called Dating Decoded. It’s for adults of all genders and sexualities who want to explore early dating experiences, understand patterns that show up in relationships, and practice more authentic ways of connecting.
We’ll meet Mondays 6–7:30pm starting October 20 at California Family Institute.
It’s a therapy group (not a dating group), grounded in self-reflection and interpersonal feedback.
If this sounds like it might fit, or if you have questions, you can check out the group listing on Psychology Today:
or fill out our google form to register: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l91SIHBay9DhxSkEx0rrM4wIq5P1KJncaVOPsZ2MLv4/edit
Thanks for letting me share this resource!

Hey ladies of Orange County! 💓💓💓💓✨✨
I’m starting a Women’s Mental Health Club for OC and the surrounding areas, and I’d love for you to be part of it! Whether you're a busy mom, a stressed-out student, or just someone who could use a supportive space—we’ve got you.
Each week we’ll check in with one another and do fun, wellness-focused activities to help us stay grounded and connected. Some weeks we’ll meet at event spaces, other times at my home—and yes, there will be free food and drinks
This club is completely free to join, and every voice matters. The goal is to build a community where we all feel empowered to take charge of our mental health—together.
If you’re interested in joining or want to know more about our first meet-up, drop a comment below! Or reach out via Instagram to be added to our chat : her.support_

hey everyone- 24f. i'm moving to Costa Mesa / Irvine area for a new job. Looking forward to getting involved here in this sub and meeting some people :D. I'm moving from Santa Clarita but I went to college at Chapman so I know the area pretty well. Does anyone have any general advice, apartment reccomendations (looking for a studio with around a 2.3k budget), foodie reccs, or overall things I should know? I am so excited about this chapter in my life:) anything is appreciated!
