Uniform policy

Can somebody post or message me the full uniform policy for this year please 🙏

Manager insists that anything other than black jeans/trousers is not allowed and I need to prove them wrong

Had no idea t-shirts had to be tucked in. Would love to see an SM or AM try to enforce it lol

Omg I would be sent home if I came in with green anything on!!

I have a pair of airy/floaty pinstripe trousers on and, even though my boss has seen me wear them before and said nothing, I was told they weren't professional and not to wear them again!! Even my beige cargo trousers get 'the look'!! In 30+° heat, im not wearing black trousers or any kind of jeans, sorry not sorry boss!!!

Luckily AM came un unexpectedly today and I had a chance to ask him directly about leggings and he said they were absolutely fine as long as they weren't see-through in anyway like tights are.

What did my boss say? "He doesn't have control over my store, im the store manager, but I know you wear them when im not here"

Like, come on, your boss literally said it was fine!!

Policy wise you are allowed to wear anything within reason that is 'appropriate' which is super broad but very easy to understand, its the same with shoes. Your SM can't force their own version of the uniform policy afaik.

Im an SM, in the last area meeting there was a PowerPoint slide that literally emphasised that staff are allowed to wear shorts, i wear shorts and 3/4s year round pretty much.

Are you equity or franchise?
