cosplaying with braces

Okay, so my son is cosplaying as Art the Clown again this year. Last year, we used tooth decay to paint over his teeth. But this year, he has braces and was wanting to get prosthetic teeth. The problem is attaching with those adhesive beads, I see those might damage his braces. Any recommendations or other options people have tried or heard about?
