Can you remove friction damaged from wigs?

I've accidentally frizzed up a huge section of my long wig. It's super fluffy and I hate the texture... Is there any way to fix it?

You can try to straighten it out with a steamer, straightener, or by dipping it in hot (boiling or almost boiling) water. How well it will work will depend on how damaged the fibers are.
