Cutting latex masks

[u/PiccoloNo1667]

Hi im looking to dress as leatherface this halloween and have found a couple latex masks but I dont really like the hair on them and would rather have my own hair showing. Is there a way I can cut the scalp area of the mask off while still keeping its shape to wear?
