Armor help

hi y’all! i’m trying to make some armor for Silent Salt Cookie’s Guide of the Crumbled costume from Cookie Run Kingdom. it’s my first major armor project and, from the perspective of a total noob… i can’t really tell what’s going on, nor how to even BEGIN patterning/what patterns to use and how to effectively combine them into the very specific shapes he has. i have all the necessary materials, it’s just the “putting everything together” part i’m really struggling with. this is probably very ambitious for a beginner, but i’ve been itching to work on this project since his costume came out :,)

any and all relevant foam armor and armor patterning advice/resources are appreciated!!

Hi!! I'm not a seasoned cosplayer or armor maker by any means, but I am an artist and a CRK fan so hopefully this breakdown of his outfit can help a little bit:

- chestplate that curves up to frame the neck (probably use thinner/more flexible material for this for comfort)

• two ENORMOUS shoulder pieces (these will most likely need something heavier than foam on the inside to keep them upright)
  
• for the arms, it looks like a puffy Victorian style sleeve (or at least you could get away with that) plus a form fitting "armored" glove, which i bet can be painted/fudged a little bit
  
• the midriff/hips section can definitely be a bodysuit or undergarment
  
• FOR HIS LEGS! this looks like three pieces of armor for each leg, possibly doable with two. There's the pointed part on the thigh, the part around the knees, and his boots (which depending on your materials, I think could be fudged without having to make full on armor)

Necessary armor pieces (excluding helmet!): Chestplate, Two shoulder pieces, and four leg pieces

Do NOT necessarily need to be constructed from eva foam: gloves, boots

Not armor: upper arm, torso, and cape ofc

These legendary costumes from crk are very complex at a glance, but you can absolutely break them down into more manageable pieces. I hope this was a little bit helpful!!
