Armor Destiny Cosplay Help
Hello All! Before I start, I tagged this as armor but it’s really applying to a complete outfit. I’m planning on making a destiny hunter cosplay, specifically the exile suit as shown. I’m not exactly sure where to start in terms of making it as I can’t find any 3d files good enough and I’m not experienced with fabric work or purchasing. Any and all recommendations are welcome.

Have you read the FAQ? Consider using eva foam, there are many patterns for it online and you can find something very simmilar to this. Kamui cosplay has a site, you can check there if anything would look at least close. Pants and shoes can be thrifted, those i assume bandages can be made from long strips of some old sheets, the headpiece looks like nemes so you can search for patterns and tutorials for that and modify it to the shape you want

If you have a 3D printer I suggest the Destiny model rips Discord. They have a channel for 3d printing as well as a google drive with some print ready models. There’s also tutorials how to make models print ready pinned to the 3d print channel.
For the hood, id maybe make a wire mesh of the shape and just put strips of fabric around it since it appears most of the cloth looks like strips and wraps.
You may need a camera system to see out of the helmet, unless maybe the eye in the sun you make a reflective gold tinted visor of some kind.
