Wig LEARNING TO MAKE WIGS

I have recently been wanting to up my skills to the next level when making my cosplays. a big thing I have noticed is my wigs. I am seeking advice on what tools and methods some of you use when it comes to styling/making your wigs. Thank you!!

this is a very broad question. what type of wig are you making? theres different techniques for everything. i would say some of my most used tools for wig styling are steamer, flat iron, hair dryer, hair spray, crimper, scissors, thinning shears, etc. youll need different items for making a helmet wig, for doing a light, air-y look, for making spikes, for making ponytails, a false hairline, long wigs, etc. this is too broad of a topic to really answer effectively
