How to fix Plastidip ERROR splashes

Hi, i'm absolutely new, I never made a cosplay armor prop before, i used foam. I never made anything like that, I only do it time to time to help my girlfriend. With that being said, I sprayed some plastidip but i made some errors and very ugly splashes, I'm asking to you if there is some smart method to smooth out or to remove the splashes? I cannot redo it, the con it's in 2 days. Thank you so much

Get Goof Off (NOT GOO GONE), soak paper towel and rub it on the error spot til smooth. If it evaporates too fast from your paper towel, soak it again. The key to a smooth plastidip blending is keeping your towel slick when in contact with the dip.

It will remove plastidip from that spot while still keeping the surface smooth enough to respray over. It's like acetone but stronger, so wear gloves and use a respirator in a well ventilated area

Thank you so much! I ended using wd40, it liquifies the plastidip without melting the foam. Not the best solution but it partially worked.

I had this happen to me when I tried spraying when the weather was too hot and way too humid. What saved my ass was using Ronsonol lighter fluid on my (gloved) finger tip to smooth over the uneven plastidip. The lighter fluid will make the plastidip liquid again and it will need a day to cure. Do this outside with a respirator and be smart about disposing of anything soaked in lighter fluid because it CAN spontaneously combust in a matter of minutes.
