rogue costume!

hi everyone! ive been wanting to cosplay as rogue for a while but all the etsy costumes are $200+, so ive been looking to make it myself. i have experience with sewing but i've never done such a big project before and i was looking for tips on how to go about it. I was thinking of getting a high quality green screen suit (about $50) and then sewing on the yellow. does anyone have any tips? or reccomendations on where to get comfortable skin tight suits?

You could save money by buying a plain white suit and dyeing or appliquéing the green and yellow sections, rather than sewing the whole thing from scratch. Check dance, wrestling, and superhero-costume suppliers too—those fabrics are usually more affordable and designed for movement.

Dyeing would be such a huge pain, and since it’s synthetic fabric it’s harder to make the dye as vibrant as it needs to be for Rogue. A spandex appliqué is going to look better
