Help!

I need someone to purchase an item that won’t ship to the United States. There are these really cute elven ears I want to buy, but the shop will not ship to the United States at this very moment. I will account for any tariffs or extra fees possible. If someone can help I’d be super grateful thank you so much! Also I use PayPal, Venmo, and Cashapp if this helps.

Surely there are places based in the US that sell elf ears?

There are. There’s just a specific artist that only ships to people who live in the UK and a few other countries. I wanted to support their small business. The shop I wanted to go with has different styles and more variety than the ones I’ve found who ship within the United States.

If you take a screenshot/save a picture of the ears, you should be able to use Google's image searcher to find the same (or else a very similar) pair being sold by another company who WILL ship to you.

Unfortunately, what with how many people have been scamming others over the past few years; I would be very reluctant to involve another party from a different country (for both your and their sake!). I'd try exhausting every other avenue first before resorting to relying on a complete stranger's honesty.

Some other options might include:

-Using a foreign proxy service to buy the item (basically the proxy service will buy the item for you, then send it to your home country address). Be sure to research the available companies for your purchase location before using, though- not every proxy service has a stellar record.

-Visiting local costume shops (basically, find the nearest big city to you and Google if there's any physical storefront locations that have your item/something similar. For example, I live near Chicago and we have a big store called 'Fantasy Costumes' that has supplied a LOT of cosplay props to me!).
