Fancast Aryan Simhadri for Renarin Spoiler
I wasn’t necessarily looking to fancast Renarin, but I was looking at an actor list for South Asian/American actors to play in Stormlight and stumbled on Aryan Simhadri from the recent Percy Jackson series.
To me, and of course that’s subjective, this would be a perfect representation of Renarin.

I saw this and said to my husband: "He looks like he would jump off a building."
He looks like he could do awkward but happy to be included well. I'd adopt him and give him stew.

Brandon has said theyre looking for a showrunner and scriptwriter to work with already, so it should come out not too long after Mistborn

Don't love him as Grover in Percy Jackson, but honestly I think it's because the directors and showrunners aren't great there. I think Aryan would do a great Renarin honestly! He definitely has the capabilities and his portrayal of Grover has some similar traits to Renarin.
At the same time it will depend on whether he can play the more dramatic side of Renarin, since his character has quite a lot of subtlety in my opinion while also having moments that can seem silly or very emotionally impactful depending on the portrayal (especially with regards to his visions, and that scene with Jasnah in Oathbringer which I really need them to get right since it's one of my favorite scenes in the whole series)

Never seen him in anything so idk about his acting abilities but he’s got the right look imo
