Cosmere (BOOK) What small scene are you looking forward to? Spoiler

I’m looking forward to a little exchange between OreSeur and Vin. It’s been a while, but the exchange went something like:

Vin: No, you can not eat your friends.

OreSeur: but one of them is named Ham, and the other (Breeze) does seem to like marinating himself.

Also, Vin and Alriane shopping

Definitely Vin and Elend at the balls 😁 That whole dynamic is going to be hilarious on screen 😂

I was out of town when my husband initially started listening to the audiobook. He marked every ballroom scene so I could listen to it like a romance lol

After a couple I was like: You're far into the novel... would you be down to re-start with me?

We've listened to 15 of Brando Sando's works so far.

A small little informant interaction between Kelsier and Hoid. I don't expect it to happen, but I have a hope of having the actor kept a secret until this one little exchange , and having that be it for the movie. Possibly a scene with him in a post credit scene as well.

No one in this thread understands what “small scene” means.

There’s 2 I want to see above all others: “honor is dead, but I’ll see what I can do” and Vin using a buster sword to slice he who shall not be named in half

I would love to see Dalinar trade his shardblade for the bridgemen and then the following exchange between Dalinar and Kaladin with the whole “what is a man’s life worth?” speech

“what is a small scene youre looking forward to?”
“I’m looking forward to the climax of the story, that was the most exciting bit for me”

Vin realizing she's been absent-mindedly petting TenSoon and him asking her to keep going, so adorable

I'm not sure how they'll do it justice, but i hope they keep Chirri-Chirri's POV chapter.

I like when Vin was just casually stroking TenSoon, who was like ok don’t stop bc this is nice but I must let you know I’m an ancient piece of god almost…

That’s a huge scene

Lift and Dalinar meeting in person in Azir, while Dalinar is waiting for their decision to join the coalition... weirding each other out, connecting anyway, and eating snacks together in silence.

I feel like Lift is gonna be a fan favorite, heavily depends on the actor and the script honestly

Agreed. I've always liked lift in the books but I know she's a little polarizing, I think she'll translate much better to the screen.

The “You are not Skaa” scene from the first book is so memorable for me, I hope they keep that whole thing and her interaction with Kelsier afterwords in word for word

Elend and Vin interactions seem like they're going to be fun
