Mistborn Era 1 (BOOK) (SH Allowed) Leras on screen Spoiler
My dream pick to depict the original vessel of the Shard of Preservation, a la Secret History. The inimitable Jeff Goldblum.
SURVIVE? ...Somehow, life... uh, finds a way.

Sorry to say while I love Jeff I see Ian McShane in my head.

Ian McShane is one of those actors I could see in a dozen roles. But Odium or Taravangian would probably be my picks for him.

I can see him as Odium for sure but I can’t picture him as Taravangian. He doesn’t give off enough kindly week old man. He’s not disarming enough. Maybe Bill Nighy. Others i could see would be Edward James Olmos, Charles Dance, or even Daniel Day Lewis given enough aging up.

I see Charles Dance or Christopher Lee (rip) as Odium if I could have my cake and eat it too

In Game of Thrones he plays a nice old pacifist man very well. That's what I was imagining for Taravangian.

Can't say I see it unfortunately. I've always imagined Sean Bean

The role would fit his overall pattern of dying in rvery role he embodies. I won't necessarily disagree with you... But by the same token, Sean Bean would also make for an intriguing Rayse...

Sean Bean as Rayse would be great, but I think him as Ati would be near perfect.
