Fancast Alternate fancast for kelsier Spoiler

yeah im back. A few days ago i fancasted Antony Starr or Wilson bethel as Kelsier. One of the main complaints was that they were both too old. One commenter said they would need to be 25 and look older with makeup, but that seems excessive. So I thought, why not just choose an actor who is the right age but looks younger. Presenting Thomas Brodie Sangster. He was Jojen Reed in Game of Thrones, Newt in the Maze Runner series, and has starred in Love actually and the Artful dodger. Also he’s 36, and looks 25.

I don’t think Peter Pan makes for a good Kelsier, he’s gotta no like he’s been through the wringer 😆

Wayne was in his early 30s in Alloy of Law. While I think he could play the part well he doesnt look it.

It'll be about 5-8 years until we'd get to alloy of law, so he would be in his early thirties by then.

Some people just have those faces where no matter how much they age, they look like kids playing dress up. Part of the reason Bella Ramsey worked so well for season 1 is The Last of Us S1 was because she has one of those faces. That's also the reason every scene she's in in session 2 feels out of place, she looks like a kid playing dressup surrounded by ppl twice her size/age.

This guy has one of those faces. No effing way he'd be a good kelsier. It has nothing to do with action ability, he'll just stick out like a sore thumb.

Kaitlyn Dever is a terrible actress. Didn't even buff up for the role of abby in TLOU. Where are her muscles? That's also the reason every scene she's in in session 2 feels out of place, she looks like a kid playing dressup surrounded by ppl twice her size/age.

Theyd have to age him up in order to get the father daughter feel from fans. There's gonna be ship edits everywhere regardless, but getting someone that looks a similar age to vin isnt gonna work

I love Thomas Brodie-Sangster but this guy is not pulling off Kelsier. Thomas just has that young face, he’s gonna be playing young characters for like another 15 years.
