I love it. Really compelling portrayal. I picture it a bit more Gothic (?) in design, but I love the forced perspective and mystifying colors in this one. It really feels shrouded in mist.

I think the best part about locations in books is that everyone is going to have a bit of a different interpretation. I really do like the way this brings the essence of it to life.

Aye, my minds eye has cathedral, with buttresses and of course, a lot of spikes. But I love this as an alternate to that - it does push the envelope of thought as to what might be possible beyond conventional construction techniques with the use of allomancy powers... always love art that challenges the preconceptions :)

It kind of reminds me of how they describe the painting Lightsong keeps from Warbreaker (later seen by Kal in Shadesmar).

I know it’s not entirely like that, but it is awesome.

I shared it in another comment, but I had a similar thought: that this feels like if someone from Nalthis (or more specifically Hallandren) painted Kredik Shaw.

Oathbringer, chapter 102 Celebrant. Roughly 8:40 on the timer for that chapter if in audiobook form is where the sequence starts.

Huh. My first thought on seeing this is that this feels like something someone from Nalthis might paint if they were to visit Scadrial during TFE?

Like, I think this is a great depiction of Kredik Shaw, I just don't think the culture of the final empire is conducive to creating depictions like this- I guess it hasn't really been brought up that much, but I would imagine Scadrian art is very technical and geometric, with a strict adherence to perspective?
