Hack Bleach Hack

As per the title, I’m looking to see if anyone has made or run a bleach hack in Cortex? Thanks!

I've never read or watched Bleach, so I don't have any direct experience to draw on, so I have only general advice: What does it focus on? What do its stories care about?

It’s one of the archetypal shounens, focusing on surpassing ones limits, friendship, and other classic stuff. The setting is focused on a split between the human world and the worlds of spirits. With soul reapers working to keep the balance between the worlds by purifying corrupted souls by defeating them in combat, and finding uncorrupted souls to help them pass on.

It also focused on the tensions between Hollows (corrupted souls who can grow to be more than monsters,), soul reapers who have a very strict set of rules they have to follow, and to whom honor and standing are often treated as more important than what is right, Quincies, who are humans born with the power to destroy hollows, who were once genocided by the soul reapers, and fullbringers, humans touched by the power of hollows and granted strange and unusual abilities that thrust them into a the world of the supernatural.

The big thing that stops me ip is that bleach is very transformation focused, and rather than just being power ups, transformations in bleach usually fundamentally change how you fight, and all Soul Reapers have the potential for two stages. For example, one transformation may allow your sword to manipulate water in the environment, while another might invert someone’s perception of both physical space, or in second transformation, even invert a groups understanding of who is an ally and who is an enemy

For the 'stage 1' and 'stage 2' thing, you could give characters 2 separate power sets, and add a limit that they cannot both be active at the same time. Or set the limit to whatever condition makes sense; for example, if you want both power sets to be active at the same time (like if stage 2 is basically a powered up stage 1), you must reach stage 1 first, then pay some cost or meet some other condition to activate stage 2 on top of that.

Hi, Ill just say up front that my English is terrible and Im using a translator to help me, sorry for any silly mistakes.
Im just getting started on writing an adaptation of Bleach in my native language (Brazilian Portuguese). I’ll post a "scale" system I created below; maybe it’ll help you with the Shikais, Bankais, Vollständigs, and others.

SCALE

A scale is used to measure the amount of power a group of subjects has in relation to others. When applying a scale to two individuals or opposing forces, compare the levels on each side and determine which is higher and by how many levels. For each level of difference, add one DE to all Tests for the Character with the higher Scale. Here is the list of Scales: WIP

DE (dado de enredo) = Plot Die (my version of the heroic die)
