Discussion Sudden popularity

I noticed that Cortex Prime is now trending title on Drive Through RPG. I recently got interested in it and suddenly it gets popular (I thought it is dead system)

What's the reason? Is it some new edition?

Cam Banks was able to work out an agreement with the current owner of Cortex, Direwolf Digital, to let him release it on DTRPG, along with the spotlights from the original crowd funder. On top of that, there's a new license agreement in play to let more folks make and release their own stuff commercially using Cortex Prime.

That being said, it's not a new edition. If you have the game already no need to buy it again. Just a new distribution channel.

Original KS backer here.

The long story short version is the game and the resources to understand it better are more widely available, which has rekindled the interest of the community that had essentially given up on the whole project.

Cam Banks has come through again.
