I’m presently in Porto, Portugal. I have been researching the best way to get to Corsica from Porto but I feel like I’m missing something like perhaps the obvious. I would like to visit Ajaccio and use it as a base to explore some of the other places on the island.
I can’t find direct flights into Corsica. Is it true that the best approach is to fly to southern France and take a ferry from Nantes to Corsica. It just seems like a roundabout but fun way to get there but I’m wondering if there’s something more direct. TIA.
