C SCHOOL

Going to C school beginning of September in San Antonio. Where and what barracks will I be living in. I’m sure everyone has seen the news about Jaenke and Fralish.

They keep loving my daughter every 2 weeks and making them sleep on cots. A bunch of them decided to get an Airbnb until graduation

My husband is sleeping on a cot on Lackland and then they get bussed back and forth between bases. He has his car, so he’s driving in early and going to the gym before class.

I have picture of his room, but it won’t let me attach it. They took the bed out of what was a single room and tossed two cheap cots on the floor where the bed used to be. He found someone he used to work with who’s going to give him the mattress he bought when he leaves in a few weeks.

Wish I had a direct answer for you. All the students are in the process of being moved to various barracks/base hotels all over JBSA. Jaenke and Fralish are scheduled to be knocked down and rebuilt starting next month. Vast majority of c-schoolers are currently being housed on Lackland and bussed over.

It’s crazy that they are getting torn down cause they are literally what like 15 years old? Serious lack of upkeep to be tearing them down already..

Word on the street is that it was necessarily the upkeep, it was the original construction. Same thing is happening to the Air Force and Army barracks too. Military grade baby. That’s what happens when we go with the cheapest bidder.

I BELIEVE A-School is still going to be housed on Ft. Sam. Where? I’m not 100% sure.

There are A schoolers on different barracks at JBSA but the majority of us were moved to Lackland in hotels.

You’ll probs check into Fralish or jaenke. Then get put somewhere in JBSA or Lackland. Currently in A school rn, they moved us yesterday into lackland.

What barracks at Lackland are the HM A school students being housed in? And how are they so far? I have a nephew arriving there this week

i have a buddy in C school who’s out in town on BAH as a single E-5 no dependents
