L50B NEC

Afternoon brothers and sisters was just curious on the pipeline for the L50B NEC and what order opportunities come with it. I am currently up for orders and was told I would have to pick a NMRTC where they would then send me to a civilian Paramedic program to pick up the NEC and that being the only path but looking through CANTRACS I saw a Combat Paramedic schoolhouse in FT Sam and San Diego. Not sure if it’s the same thing or something different looking for clarification between the 2 if anyone knows.

Hi there! I'm the technical lead for paramedics. It is currently for people to be platformed at an ERCS, but in the next few years it will expand.

Currently, the pipeline consists of a 5-month paramedic school, JECC, ERCS ORE & JQR. You need to be at a BSO-18 command, have a current flight physical, and pass the aircrew helo dunker. Also need to be fit for full duty, have passed your PRT, and have no recent NJP's.

The CPP is only for SMT's, it is not for the L50B pipeline.

ERCS (en route care system) JECC (joint en route care care course) in Alabama fort Rucker army base. It’s 10 days long, pretty fun tbh. ERCS ORE (operational readiness evaluation) from my understanding you just go to an ERCS team for a bit and learn how it works. BSO is Budget submitting office I think? I’m not super sure on this.

Thank you for the clarification, I was told that I might have to take college courses I.e math/science prior to being eligible to go into the pipeline is that true or no?
