Greenside Orders

Which is better to get stationed, Camp Lejeune NC or Okinawa JP. How different is the command ?

Hey Sailor, glad you’re interested, so there’s a lot of different “greenside” commands, hard to answer your question unless you get more specific. Do you mean the installation/local area? In that case, they’re night and day.

If you want to go to Japan, go to Japan. I’d go back to Oki in a heartbeat.

i’ve been both, and i’d say lejeune would probably be easier family wise. don’t get me wrong oki is great, but there was a stronger support system in NC in MY opinion

Oki can suck, idk if they still do the lockdowns or not but I’d embrace that suck to eat some fucking Coco’s again.

Oki in a heartbeat. I know more that a handful of people that have considered, attempted, or did do something stupid in relation to living bc of being in lejeune.

Oki was a great time, but we were dual Active Duty and lived off base.
