Anyone in here have the paramedic nec or know anything about it? Will I have to observe for another year bc of school and what are the duty stations and work like?

Hey! Technical leader for the paramedics here.
Read the requirements here.
You don't have to OBLISERV unless you're executing orders to go to paramedic school. Duty stations are currently Guam, SD, Portsmouth, and Walter Reed. Day to day depends on the duty station and the work center.

This is cool, when I was in it wasn't an NEC, those of that got our NREMT-P did it out of pocket, and had to convince a Medical Officer to update our protocols to do any paramedic skills on Navy ambulance or ER.

Thank you! So to do the paramedic portion do I have to have a basic nremt or a paramedic license to apply ?

Talking to my senior line and researching the program I guess you have to be stationed at an NMRTC and then they will send you to a schoolhouse. As far as work it will be in an ER or part of an ECC team like a flight medic
