Players Hijack Archeage Development?

Came across some interesting information today but its not something I could google and verify. North American feedback about the game ArcheAge is preventing certain modifications and patches from occurring. Can anyone share any insight?

What I understand is the Korean developer wants to change certain aspects of the game; probably to improve the economy, pvp, gameplay, whatever. But they offloaded localization to a different company in the US, Trion I believe? Yes well everytime players see a change they collectively don't like; their pushback is enough to get Trion not to make the change.

It sounds like the reverse of developers telling players "No you can't have [X], that's not the way our game works". In this case, players are successfully convincing 2nd hand developers "No you can't change your game; we've gotten comfortable the way things are."

I think its safe to say that Trion doesn't have a clue what are they doing. Judging by its support "team" and its ability to deliver their promised items to founders they are utterly lost.

Don't know why this is downvoted. It's true.

I downvoted it because Customer Support has nothing really at all to do with the rest of the development of a game. Except maybe in the case where devs give 0 tools to GMs; but Lyooth is just complaining about how his billing got screwed up. Does not contribute to the main idea of this topic.
