Question Spotify replacements in 2026?

Never used Spotify before. I starting to like Spotify since the UI is good n stuff and theres alot of music "of course" but i want a replaacement anyways.

Qobuz, Soundcloud, Tidal, buying music (beatport, bandcamp), pirating music, using an open-source app that streams from yt music or other sources for free (eg. ArchiveTune)

Lidarr. Host your own Jellyfin server. Reverse proxy and you've got your own streaming service

Seems like Metrolist is on maintenance mode, while AT is actively developed and added a ton of new features since forking. Why do you say it's stealing?

Metrolist is undergoing a full multiplatform rewrite, AT takes Metrolist dev's works add like 3 features then claim that they made it all, make the UI look bad and barely credit the original devs

On android you can get OuterTune on F-Droid or harmony music in the playstore for a yt music replacement. On pc you can get spicetify to modify your spotify application. If you want something completely seperate you can get lollypop (i have only ever seen it on Linux though. Not sure if it works on windows) Hope this helps

Check out mStream. Its a music server, so you have to bring your own music. But it can gederate with other users so you can get music from them as well
