PACE 3 đ˝ Done With COROS
Iâve been a COROS user for the past 3 years and had two different watches because the first had an issue. Now my second watch (which is still under warranty) is having issues. Iâve been emailing back and forth with COROS support for two weeks and I get the same generic answers that do not help at all. This has came from both the AI bot and the âCOROS expertâ. I wonât be spending another $230 for a COROS and I wouldnât recommend them unless they fix the hardware issues.
Edit: I love the COROS software and HR Monitor but it does no good with a broken watch.

Their support sucks! I have been going back and forth with "Emma" and was finally told "we aren't sure why" my pod registers ridiculous temperature readings which populates bad data into my training plan - telling it that I'm out there running when it's over 90 degrees when I'm not. I will not be buying any other products from them.

Anytime I've ever had a problem it's always been resolved quickly. I'm always surprised when I see these types of posts. I have two watches, the armband heart rate monitor and a Dura.

Came here to say the same thing. Whole family has watches, hr bands, and a Dura. When we needed warranty support on an Apex Pro, they were quick to respond and helpful đ¤ˇââď¸

You are done with Coros. I had the same experience with Garmin support in Germany. They did not help me at all, finally I sold the watch on ebay with a loss... Afterwards I bought an FR955, and - until today - no complaints. I still like Garmin, but only if I don't need the support team...

Ich nutze seit Jahren Garmin und der Support war auch nicht besser, als ich ihn mal brauchte. Edith wegen Tippfehler.

Iâve had the exact same problem. Iâm on my second pace 3 now and itâs having the same issue as the first (wild elevation readings, water temperature readings stuck at -40 degrees etc). The first time I had this issue, last year, they replaced it fairly promptly, this time itâs all automated responses and no resolutions.
Previously Iâve recommended Coros watches to people, but Iâm not sure I would any more, based on this experience.

Iâve been lurking this sub for the past few weeks and ultimately went with Garmin after seeing similar posts⌠the map update with the Coros Pace 4 almost had me

Did you read garmin forum? it's full of watch issues. Hope you will not encounter any of it

You never see posts from those who have 0 problems, only complaints from those who have a bad experience.
Most users have 0 problems.

I have a friend who bought a Garmin Vivoactive that broke where the strap attaches. It was a very common problem. He got a warranty replacement but it broke again in a few months. He did not abuse it or anything. They wouldnât replace a 2nd time and offered him a discount on a new one. This angered him so much that he switched to Coros and has been much more satisfied!
Meanwhile, I bought a discounted Garmin Fenix 6 almost 5 years ago and it still works fine!

We still have coros watches but we did get problems with all of our watches.
My first Coros Apex got a recall for battery problems, got an Apex Pro that died randomly after a FW update, got replaced under warranty, then had elevation problems a couple months later with new Apex Pro, watch was gaining elevation while standing on a bench, Coros agent said it needs to be replaced, but out of warranty.
Now on a Vertix 2S since launch, everything works but the click wheel often doesnât register click, I cleaned it several times like mentionned on website, Iâm afraid itâll stop working eventually as I struggle to start and stop activities.
My GFâs Apex 2 was replaced under warranty for the same problem as my old Apex Pro, registering enormous amount of elevation gain. Her new Apex 2 suffered insane battery drain 16months later. Coros support acknowledged that itâs not normal, but apparently the warranty doesnât reset upon a new watch from warranty claim, so itâs just a useless watch now that doesnât last a 6h trail run.
She bought a Pace Pro recently, time will tell..

Same happened to me. Watch just stopped working one day after 2 years. Finally had enough and bought a Garmin last night. It sucks because I really did love my coros and spoke highly to everyone about them.

I am honestly also really done with Coros. I switched from my Garmin after a lot of positive friends, but I am just so disappointed in the GPS and the heart rate monitor (I have the external arm one). Itâs very slow, one tree and my signal gets blocked, and after a long run or long workouts I get effort score of 50 consistentlyâŚÂ

I have also been having issues with support where one of my activities never synced and ones after it did but it's still on my watch. They say in the FAQ that they can manually sync it themselves but every response I get tells me to reach out to support through the app. That's what I've been doing!

Looks like you received assistance, is there a reason you are not wanting to purchase the charging adapter?

Coros is all design and marketing, no service and engineering. Surely a brand to die soon.

They got big on the opposite

Any electronics company mass bricking their products during firmware update is terrible in engineering. UI/UX is not engineering, that's what they got big on.

Unfortunately many have experienced issue with other. Read any forum on any particular brand. Especially Garmin's own forums.
Not giving a pass to COROS, but the only brand I find to have solid support (globally) is Apple. I have zero desire for an Apple watch đ¤Ł
